Gem Yoga and Life Enrichment is expanding services and changing locations, moving to 2 Sycamore St., according to a news release from Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership.
The company has been in business in Tiffin since 2014, offering group and individual yoga classes, yoga therapy, aromatherapy, massage therapy, reflexology, craniosacral therapy, energy psychology and reiki.
The new space gives Gem Yoga a window to downtown Tiffin as well the ability to operate on one floor, the release said. The new space also allows for a reception area, multipurpose room and private rooms for therapists to work with clients.
Expanded services planned to in the near future will include foot detox, full body detox and some retail services for high-end yoga supplies, the release said. The company has six employees, one of which is a new addition as Gem Yoga increases its offerings.
The business had been in the Laird Building since it started in 2014, expanding from one studio on the first floor to two more spaces on the second floor.
“The Laird has been our home for so long, but this new space will provide us with the opportunity to grow and expand our services,” owner Gemma Marschke said in the release. “I’m excited for all the possibilities, things we’ve been wanting to do but never had the ability to in our old space.”
